Ray G Rhigans real name Muhairwe Reegan is arguably Western Uganda’s biggest music export in the last decade. He has been so dominant on the airwaves of that region that, his sound managed to find its way out and into the central region, and other parts of the country.
To cement that legacy he has built over the years, the youthful singer together with his management team at Awesome Entertainment have decided to organize a maiden concert in capital city Kampala on October 29th at Imperial Royale Hotel.
This is mainly to “thank and appreciate the fans from the central region and the rest of the country for supporting me over the years”. The soft spoken singer said in a press briefing yesterday at Silk Events offices in Bugolobi.
“I am grateful to all my fans for the support given to me and would like to pay back with a performance to remember and urge everyone in and around Kampala to turn up in big numbers for this show”. He added.

Ray G who was born and raised in Ishaka Municipality Bushenyi District recorded his first single ‘Amarari’ in 2013 and signed to Deconcept management before starting his own label Awesome Entertainment. He sings mostly in Runyankole and a mix of Luganda and English. He has held many shows in his home district and region as well as featured on many other concerts back home.
However, it is his song “Omusheshe” in which he features Spice Diana that got him the breakthrough in Central and other parts of the country in 2020. The song got massive airplay and instantly won the hearts of many Ugandans because of his sweet melodies vocals, rich cultural lyrics and storyline in the video.
He also has several other collaborations with artistes from his region and Central region as he plans for more that can sell him throughout the country.
It is against this backdrop that, he feels it is now the right time to have a concert in the Capital and also take his message to other fans in other parts of the country.
