The origin of the coronavirus may remain a mystery, Konstantin Chernov, development director of the Chumakov Center, told TASS.
“We need to conduct a detailed study of all the reasons for its appearance, this will require a number of administrative or even political decisions, which is practically impossible today,” he explained.
Chernov emphasized that the laboratory origin of the virus has not yet been proven, since it “does not contain unambiguous signs of man-made.”

In addition, the report of scientists notes that the United States prevented the disclosure of details of research on viruses similar to the causative agent of COVID-19.
