Atlantic Records which manages Jamaican Dancehall artiste Sean Paul has shown interest in and promised to support upcoming rapper Ring Rapper Ratata
This is after they landed on a video of the 14-year-old rapper doing a cover of Sean’s song “Like Glue”.
The rapper did the cover of the song and simply posted it on his official Facebook page and YouTube account but little did he know that Sean Paul and Atlantic Records were going to watch it
Surprisingly, the American record label sent Ring’s management an email promising to support him with his music career.
“Dear Mr ring rapper ratata. We are here to congratulate you on the like Glue cover project. Indeed you are talented. We have grand plans to work and support you. Please forward us that video on the email below. Thanks.” Read the email
Ring Rapper posted on his Facebook account and said the support will even force him to put in more efforts in his rapping skills.
“They have given me a chance to Work with one of there artists. They have paid the studio in Uganda for me to make a song such that I can send it to them. I will be updating you everything here. Thank you UGANDA for love and support. Ring to the world,” he wrote.
Atlantic Records, is an American Recording company founded in October 1947 by Ahmet Ertegun and Herb Abramson. The company has reputation in managing artists and different music styles that include Jazz, R&B, HIPPOP and other Genres.
The company is now owned by Warner Bros and Warner Music Group, one of the best music and movie production companies in the world.
