Big Talent Crew boss Eddy Kenzo is over the moon after receiving his 2020 Hollywood African Prestigious  (HAPA) award.               

He beat the other nominees to the award of Best International Male Artist of Africa last year but couldn’t travel to California, USA to receive it officially because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.

On Monday 16th of August 2021, he finally received the award which he unboxed and showed to his fans in a video he shared on his official Facebook page.

“The Best International Male Artist of Africa at Hollywood African Prestigious Awards(HAPA) is your boy Young Mandela Musuuza. Indeed Sitaani Talina Maanyi. We glorify the name of God. Thank you HAPA. Thank you Team Eddy Kenzo Eddy Kenzo” He posted on his official Facebook Page.

The annual Happa Awards were established by Africans living in USA to reward outstanding people in the African Entertainment Industry.

Other 2020 winners that received their awards include Nigerian Dancehall artiste Pato Ranking ( Best Male Artiste, Africa), Nollywood actress Rita Dominic ( Best International Female Actress), Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu (Best TV Series Actress) among others.

We are not sure of what exactly made influenced her to end her working relationship with him but we can confirm that singer and songwriter Pia Pounds, real name Tracy Kirabo is no longer being managed by Kuseim Knots of African Bureau of Music Studios

It probably must be something that has been forthcoming but Pia decided to let it known to the public through her official 213K followers’ Facebook page earlier on Wednesday.

“I am looking for a manager” read Pounds’ post that was met with plenty good luck messages from Facebook users who came across the post on their timelines.

Kuseim who is a music producer is the one who has been managing Pia (though not officially) from the time she left Eddy Kenzo’s Big Talent Crew over the pressure from allegations that she was allegedly dating Kenzo, who at that time was so engaged with his then girlfriend Rema Namakula.

It also reported that their separation was in good faith as Kuseim is lost in a lot business there by not paying too much attention to Pia’s career.

By the time we went to press, she hadn’t announced a new manager but like her fans on Facebook did, we also wish her all the best

According to Wikipedia, Pia Pounds started her career while still in secondary school in 2011 with the release of her released her first single “Just The Way You Are” featuring veteran singer Ragga Dee. She then took a break to complete school and returned in 2017 while she was university

In January 2018, she was signed under Big Talent Crew bossed by singer Eddy Kenzo and some of the songs she released are “Tubawe” and “Wawangula” before she in July 2019 left the camp and she has since then her candle burning releasing more singles
