itemprop=”headline”>Donald Trump Finally Launches Own Website After Being Banned From Facebook And Twitter
Posted on May 6, 2021
Former US President Donald Trump launched a new website where he will be in direct communication with his followers and supporters.
This comes months after the ban that was slapped on him by some social media platforms Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
The launch of this website named “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” comes 4 months after the 3 social media platforms maintained the ban, over reasons that he was in ‘support of’ the January riots by his supporters that happened at the United States Capitol in Washington D.C.
With this website, he can post messages that can be liked and shared by others to Twitter and Facebook
According to Him, he had to create his own platform because the two platforms have denied him his constitutional right of free speech his country.
“What Facebook, Twitter, and Google have done is a total disgrace and an embarrassment to our Country,” Trump said in a statement.
“Free Speech has been taken away from the President of the United States because the Radical Left Lunatics are afraid of the truth, but the truth will come out anyway, bigger and stronger than ever before,” he continued.
It is reported that the website was built by “Campaign Nucleus”, a digital services company created by Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale.
Meanwhile, Twitter management says that Trump’s ban is permanent, even if he runs for presidency again.
Trump, who left office on January 20th 2021, has falsely claimed he lost last year’s election to Democrat Joe Biden because of ‘widespread voter fraud’.
