After a 6 month hiatus, Club Beats At Home, a virtual concert organised by Club Pilsener that brings local artistes to perform for their fans, officially returned with a bang last Saturday the 10th of July for season four dubbed “Team No Sleep Edition”
The night’s performances came from upcoming singer An Known, Sheebah Karungi and Dancehall singers Ziza Bafana and Mudra.
All the four put up amazing live band performances that were liked by the fans who were watching them live but Bafana’s was more thrilling, if the comments from the viewers is something to rely on.
It seems like the self-proclaimed Ugandan ‘god of Raggamuffin music’ who is known for his energetic stage performances didn’t come to just perform and get his pay, he came ready to take viewers on a thrilling music journey.
Clad in all black, Ziza started his 40 minute performance full of energy singing “Saagala Ntalo”, “Guluma Nasomye”, “Agende” and while performing “Nsuna Suna”, he displayed his keyboard playing skills and surprised those who didn’t know or doubted that he can play it.
He later performed his last two songs “Gyayo Ntekeyo” and his latest tune “Mbuzi”.
His performance was backed up with a female and male dancer who displayed some impressive dance moves, mostly the female who was wiggling her body and shaking her booty in an eye-catching style that left many, especially the men yearning for more.
Ziza kept his energy and pace from the start to the end, without forgetting the good use of the stage.
Meanwhile, Bafana who like four years ago was one of the hottest cakes in Ugandan Dancehall music space got a setback following his bitter fall out with his then manager Roger but he has tried to make a big comeback although things seem sluggish
