Senior journalist Joseph Sabiti bid farewell to NBS Television after he hosted his last show on Thursday 26th, August, 2021.
He told the public after the end of the show that this was his last appearance as he prepares for another job at parliament.
“This is my last appearance on the frontline. Good bye is the saddest word,” He said
NBS Television also confirmed that he will not be hosting the show again.
“Thank you for playing your role well” a post from NBS TV Television social media platforms read.
He was recently appointed by deputy Speaker of Parliament Anita Among as her press secretary.
Two years ago, Sabiiti quit NBS TV and started working as a communication officer for Action Aid but later returned to the Naguru, Kampala based television station ahead of the January 14th 2021 Uganda General elections to report about the campaigns and voting.
Sabiiti was later tasked to host the “Frontline” political show after journalist Charles Odongtho, who was its host, quit the station and joined the Uganda broadcasting Corporation (UBC) in March 2021.
