Some days ago, speculations that singer Rema Namakula ‘fired’ her longtime manager and newly elected MP for Bukomansimbi Constituency, Kayemba Geofrey Ssolo were all over social media and some blogs.
As a matter of fact, it was speculated that she fell out with Kayemba because of ‘his failure to balance’ between managerial duties and those of Member of Parliament
However, according to what he said in an interview with Radio Simba’s “Wolokoso” show, it seems like the two are still working together.
Kayemba cleared the air by quashing the fallout speculations. He said that his permanent basis working relationship with the “Sili Muyembe” hit singer cannot just come end and also disclosed some of the things he plans to do for her like hooking her up for collaboration projects with American super stars like Beyonce, Rihanna and Shakira.
In a inclusive phone interview with Chano8.com on Wednesday, Kayemba reaffirmed that he is still managing Rema just like before, has never stopped and isn’t planning on it
He blamed the speculations on idle social media users who create confusing controversies that made some people believe he had been relieved of his duties.

Meanwhile, it should remembered that in 2019, it was also rumoured that Kayemba had partied ways with Rema whom she has been managing ever since she launched a solo career in 2013. That was after she left Bebe Cool’s Gagamel Crew where she was as Bebe’s backup singer and it is said that Kayemba was behind Rema’s persuasion to leave Gagamel.
