Musicians, disk jockeys and stakeholders in the entertainment industry paid tribute to fallen CBS FM presenter DJ Emma Maseege.
Emma who was the co-host of the radio station’s show “Emanduso” died on Tuesday night the 7th of September 2021 and his death was announced on social media by CBS FM, his close friends and relatives.
It is said that Emma who a fortnight ago was bed ridden returned to work on Tuesday the 7tth of this month only to get unwell a few hours later. Arrangements to take him to hospital were immediately made but unfortunately, he died as they reached Mengo Hospital gate.
From the time news of his untimely death broke, his fellow Djs, local artistes as well as other stakeholders in the music industry have been mourning him
Veteran musician Jose Chameleone said on his social media platforms that the loss of DJ Emma is a big one to the country’s entertainment industry
“So sad news of the tragic demise of our brother and friend DJ Emma. I join the entire family, DJS and CBS FM in mourning the loss of such a pure soul. Sleep well my brother. Till we meet again,” he posted
NBS TV’s MC Kats said that the death of Emma is a big loss to the media and entertainment industries because he had a lot of experience in the promotion of music.
“Am expressing my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of DJ Emma. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. May God protect and guide your family and thank you for sharing your life and talent with us, Rest Peace,” he posted on his Facebook page

CBS FM radio presenter and comedian Patriko Mujuuka said Emma was a dedicated worker that loved his job and the station will dearly miss his services.
“It’s with deep sorrow that I announce the death of our colleague, work mate and CBS radio presenter DJ Emma Maseege. May the angels welcome you to heaven my brother,” he posted on his Facebook page
Emma was a veteran Kampala based DJ that started working in Kampala night clubs in 1990’s before joining radio as a music show presenter.
